...Mr. Frank Jones, who has been on the staff of "The Evening Post" for fifteen years, was presented by fellow employees with an emblem of their goodwill in honour of his recent marriage. The presentation was made by Mr. H. S. Lines, head of the engineering department, who emphasised the long service of Mr. Jones and the respect in which he is held. Mr. Jones was married at New Plymouth last month to Miss Beatrice Mary Carter, second daughter of Mr. Christopher Carter, of Vogeltown, New Plymouth. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. F. Copeland.4
