Horse Is Killed; Rider Uninjured
ASQUITH.--Although the neck of the horse he was riding was broken, Cecil Souster, aged 16, was uninjured when the animal stumbled over an open culvert as he was riding home in the dark. Cecil was thrown about four yards over the horse's head. Repairs were being made on the road and it is thought that the open culvert was overlooked by the workers when they left at the close of the day's work. Cecil is the son of Thomas Souster whose farm is four and one half miles southeast of Asquith.4
