I am not convinced that Ephraim Wood and Sarah Wood are the correct parents for Priscilla Wood. Early records do not include the mother's maiden name for birth records, and there were two potential couples in the are at this time period.9

Her mother may have been Sarah née French rather than Sarah Wood, both of whom married an Ephraim Wood, two separate men.10
