Nathaniel Hall died on 27 July 1816, at the home of his son Richard, at New Haven, Addison County, Vermont, USA, at age 92.3 Alternatively, he died on 27 July 1816 at Mansfield, Tolland County, Connecticut, USA, at age 92 according to James Dewey Beals' SAR application, I consider this source less reliable.1
Nathaniel Hall was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven, Addison County, Vermont, USA.7
The following information is from my personal research, 1742:
He was commissioned as a lieutenant in the British army. He rose to the rank of captain. He served during the French and Indian War (1754 - 1763), including the attack on Quebec in 1759 where General's Montcalm (New France) and Wofle (Britain) both died. At one point, he had command of Groton Fort (aka Fort Griswold at Groton, Connecticut, built in 1775 to 1778.)3
