Lon McEvoy Dies Sunday in Chicago
     Lon McEvoy. well known resident of this city for a number of years, passed away yesterday noon in Chicago following a long illness. Mr. McEvoy had been in poor health for the past several years and has been a resident of Chicago for over a year.
     He was born in Cortland February 5, 1870 and would have been 74 years of age next Saturday. He was united marriage to Sarah Ferguson of Creston in 1899 the ceremony taking place in DeKalb. He was a teamster for many years.
     Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Vincent Fuller of DeKalb; one son Stanley of Chicago; two brothers, John of Peoria and Tom of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Clara Riley of DeKalb; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him ln -death in 1915 and a son, Elroy, died during World War I.
     Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the St. Mary's church with Rev. Charles Quinn to officiate. Interment will be in the St Mary's cemetery. Friends may can at the Nelson and Ronan Mortuary until the time of the service. The Rosary will be said this evening at 6:00 o'clock at the mortuary.3

Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Fuller of DeKalb announce the marriage of their daughter, Doris, to Sergeant Robert Burcum of Sycamore, who Is a member of the national guard now stationed at Camp Forrest. Tullahoma, Tenn. The wedding took place recently at Huntsville, Ala. Attendants at the wedding were Elexie Hall of Huntsville, a friend of the bride and Sgt. William McLean of Sycamore. Also In attendance were several members of Headquarters Company of the national guard, close friends of the bride and groom.7
