The house was beautifully decorated with flowers and vines, and to the bay window amid palms and white blossom, the young couple marched to' the strains of Mendelsohn's wedding march, played by Miss Hazel Kennedy of this city, a cousin of the bride, and here they plighted their faith, Rev. Flack, pastor of the Garfield M. E. church, performing the ring marriage ceremony.
