The well-attended funeral of a life long resident of Ottawa, Charles Arthur Sanderson of 291 Flora street took place Saturday from the chapel of Hulse and Playfair, Limited, 315 McLeod street. The service was conducted by Rev. W. H. Shaver of McLeod Street United church of which Mr. Sanderson was a member for many years.
Mr. Sanderson, who was in his 57th year, died in hospital last Thursday after a lengthy illness. been associated with his father, late J. D. Sanderson, a and a brother in the firm of J. D. Sanderson Co., builders and contractors, and later conducted a business on Flora street.
The chief mourners were his mother, Mrs. J. D. Sanderson: his wife, who was Lora Honeywell; one son, Clarence A., at home, and two daughters, Mrs. J. F. Beveridge of Smiths Falls and Mrs. C. H. Betts of Ottawa, as well as two brothers. Herbert W. and J. Sanderson, and a sister, Mrs. W. F. Argue, all of Ottawa. Burial took place in Pinecrest cemetery.2

The wedding of Miss Martha M. McGlashan, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. McGlashan, of Wilson's Corners, Que., and Mr. Edwin H. Honeywell, son of Mrs. E. H. Honeywell and the late Mr. Honeywell, of Woodroffe, took place Saturday, June 25, at Chelsea, Que. Rev. Wesley Morris officiated.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her cousin, Miss Aletha Raven, as bridesmaid. Mr. Fred Honeywell was best man.
The bride wore a gown of white satin, styled with a lace yoke and long sleeves which tapered over her wrists. Her veil was held in place by a satin coronet and she wore red roses and orange blossoms.
Following a reception held at the bride's home, the couple left on a wedding trip to Montreal, and the Laurentians. Going away, the bride wore a light blue suit with white accessories.
On their return the couple will reside at Woodroffe.
Among the out-of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Todd, of St. Jerome; Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Honeywell of Kemptville; Miss Gertrude Honeywell of Toronto.4
