Ruben D. Trask died at his home at Harris Sask, Canada, April 25th, 1923, aged 78 years and 1 month. Mr. Trask lived a few miles east of Girard for many years, later moving to Girard. A few years ago, he moved to Canada, where his five sons live. He was highly esteemed both in Girard and in the rural community where he lived. He is survived by his widow and five sons, Ed, Tim, Com. Hugh and Floyd.8

MRS. REUBEN TRASK
HARRIS. On Monday morning another well known resident of Harris passed away in the person of Minerva Melissa Trask, widow of Reuben Trask. Mrs. Trask was horn in Greenfield, Indiana in 1850, later moving to Missouri where she married in 1873 and moved to Kansas. In 1920 they moved to Harris to spend their days near their family who had settled in this district. Mr. Trask died in 1923.
She is survived by five sons, Edward, of Laura; Hugh of Battleford; C. A., of Hanley; Simeon and Floyd of Harris and a number of grand and great-grandchildren.
The funeral, postponed from January 23 owing to the bllzrard, was held on January 24 with Rev. J. T. Elsdon officiating. The pallbearars were Messrs. J. Mlscampbell. J. Brooks, J. F. Bradshaw, O. S. Sugden, Selsey and Edwin Cram. Interment was made at the Harris cemetery.2
