GREGORY--CRAIG
The home of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Craig, of Sutherland, was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding on July 14 at 8 o clock in the evening, when their elder daughter, Wilda Jean, was given in marriage to Andrew Douglas Gregory, son of the late Mr. John Gregory and Mrs Gregory of Asquith. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. J. Sangwine of Asquith and Kinley in the presence of a few immediate relatives and friends.
The bride entered the room on the arm of her father to the strains of the wedding march from Lohengrin, she was charming in a gown of white silk organdie. With this she wore a diamond necklace, a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Alice Downey of Asquith played the wedding music. The register was signed by Miss Lois Craig, sister of the bride, and Mr. Elbert Sangwine, of Asquith. Afterwards a dainty lunch was served by Lois, Gordon and Roy Craig, sister and brothers of the bride.
The happy couple left that evening by motor to spend their honeymoon at Banff and other points. The bride wore a smart cape ensemble of haze grey, matmira (sic) crepe with vestee and hat of Cannes blue to match.
Mr. and Mrs. Gregory will reside on the bridegroom's farm seven miles south of Asquith, and will be at home to their friends after August 1.4
