     She was born on 20 July 1852 at Drachhausen, Cottbus, Brandenburg, Prussia/Preußen (modern Germany).1
     Her name was also recorded as Anna Junop.3 Anna Zannop emigrated with Christian Zannop and Maria Zannop on 31 March 1862 from Hamburg, Germany; to Quebec City. Note that the Brandenburg Emigration database gives their surname as Zonnop, but does not include an image of the source document for verification. The Hamburg passenger list for the Mathilde appears to give the spelling as indicated above. The Wilhelm Pillgrim family sailed on the same ship.4,5

     Wilhelmina Westphal died on 16 September 1924 at Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 76.3
     Her name was also recorded as Schwant. She immigrated in 1883 to Canada from Germany.2

     She was born circa 1826 at Germany (age 45 in the 1871 census)6; or, circa 1831 at Germany (age 50 in the 1881 census.)7 Maria married Christian Zonnop on 23 May 1852 at Drachhausen, Cottbus, Brandenburg, Prussia/Preußen (modern Germany).8,5
     She was commonly knownas Marie according to her son Gotfried'd marriage registration.9 Maria Zannop and Christian Zannop emigrated with Martin, Anna, Christie and Mathes their children on 31 March 1862 from Hamburg, Germany, to Quebec City. Note that the Brandenburg Emigration database gives their surname as Zonnop, but does not include an image of the source document for verification. The Hamburg passenger list for the Mathilde appears to give the spelling as indicated above. The Wilhelm Pillgrim family sailed on the same ship.10,11 Christian and Maria Zergon immigrated in 1862 to Golden Lake, Renfrew County, Canada West, United Province of Canada. Note that Linda Rutledge wrote in May 2004, "I also have a picture of what the original Junop homestead looked liked in the 80's. The picture is titled Christian Junop Homestead 1845." However, most of his children were born in Germany, up until at least 1858. Godfrey was born in Ontario in early 1863. Therefore the date attribution of the photo may be too early.12
     Mary appeared on the 1871 Canadian Census of Algona Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, in the household of Martin Junop and Anne Junop.6
     Mary appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Renfrew County, Ontario, in the household of Martin Junip and Annie Junip.7
     Marie Schonop was recorded as the mother of the bridegroom at the marriage of Gotfried Schonop and Rosa Schmidt on 8 May 1889.13 In the death registration of Christian Junop who died on 24 August 1945, Maria Gergorgnut (sic) who was born in Germany was identified as his mother.14
