She was born on 23 August 1915, at Lot 8, at Calvert Twp., Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada, I have not found a birth registration, but Frank and Pollie may not have gotten around to registering her at the time of their deaths. Her gravestone gives this date of birth, but her death registration indicates she was about 9 (not 11) months old.2

He was born on 21 March 1895 at Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, according to his Sept 17, 1959 certification of a Statement of Birth. He states that his mother was Louisa Panke, however, Christie's second wife did not die until 1899, and Christie did not marry Louisa until 1901. Perhaps Bertha was his biological mother and Louisa was his step-mother. Alternatively, Louisa was his mother, and Christie may have been his step-father.1,7,6 Emil married Mary Elizabeth Hamilton on 25 April 1921 at Pembroke, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.6 Emel married Mary Elizabeth McDonough on 20 August 1926 at Westmeath Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 043495. This is the first according to Ontario Marriage Registration that I have encountered that is only signed by the bride. He was a widower farmer and a member of the United Church. She was a younger Roman Catholic spinster.2,3
Other information from their marriage registration:
The registration listed the following official witnesses: Adeline Krieger.2

His name was also recorded as Emel Kreger his surname is spelled four different ways on his marriage registration, but this appears to be how he spelled it in his signature.6 His name was transcribed as Emil Kregers in his 1926 marriage registration.3
Emeal Kruger appeared in the 1911 Canadian Census of Pembroke, Renfrew County, Ontario in the household of his parents, Christie and Lizzie Kruger, worked in a Brickyard.7 Omile Kreger, of R.R.#2, Pembroke, ON, was the informant on the death registration of his wife, Mary Elizabeth Kreger, who died on 9 November 1924.8
