Research notes (30 July 2011):
Aurena may be the same child as Wilhelmina. Aurena was listed in the 1901 census, but Wilhelmina was not. Conversely, Minnie was listed in the 1911 census, but Aurena was not. They were young enough that they both should have been enumerated with the family, if they were siblings.12
In the obituary of Charles Stephon Jones who died 11 December 2013, his mother, Wilhemena Jones, was listed as predeceased.13

LT. BILL BECKER FAILS TO RETURN
(Ogallala News)
Now it's Bill Becker who is missing, Lieut. William E. Becker, Rev. and Mrs. William Becker, Ogallala received a telegram Friday saying their son had been missing since June 26, following a bombing mission over Austria.
Lieutenant Becker, navigator, bombardier on a Liberator, and squadron leader, is the second son of the Rev. Beckers to be missing after bombing missions. S-Sgt Robert Becker has been a prisoner in Germany for nearly a year after the bombing of the Ploesti oilfields in Rumania.
Lieutenant Becker enlisted in the air corps in April 1942. He visited here during the Christmas holidays after completing several months of anti-submarien (sic) duty in the Caribean (sic) area.
A few weeks before the report of his missing Lieutenant Becker wrote his parents of fierce battles with German fighter planes as the Liberator returned from German bombing missions. Rev. Becker said he was somewhat prepared for the news and could only hope now that their son is a prisoner.
Rev Becker writes The Sentinel that their son, Robert writes them from the prisoner camp in Germany. The last letter being dated March 11th. A letter dated December 11th, and a post card dated December 19th, arrived in April.13

A letter dated December 11th, and a post card dated December 19th, arrived in April.14
