He married Marion Wright on 1898, daughter of Mrs. Wright....W.Dk's second daughter, Edith, married Walker Watson who oddly enought had been born in Edith's former home. Walker took up farming in the Rounthwaite district after three years of service overseas.. Mr. and Mrs Watson before retiring in 1957, farmed for several years closer to Brandon. Their son, Ralph,is a detective on the Brandon City Police Force while their daughter, Dorothy operates a grocery store and confectionery on Tenth Street.

Jackson, age 64 years, 3 mons and 19 days. The deceeased was born at Clifford Ont, and came to Manitoba March, 1898 and was married to the late Mr. Wm. D. Jackson two weeks later, residing on the Old Creek farm near Treesbank near Treesbank for about eight yeaers, moving there from Faillight Sask, where they successfully farmed for eight years, following which they moved to their farm near Treesbank where they both resided until their deaths. Mrs Jackson had endeardd herself by her kindly and friendly disposition to all who knew her and has left a gap in the country with will be hard to fill. The following sons and daughters mourn her loss George H. at Minto, Harold E. at Treesbank, JamesE. at home, Mrs. H. D. Barnes, Wph, Mrs. W.Watson, Brandon, Nrs. N.
