Kingston
...Mrs Raymond, over 80 years of age, died Sunday. The funeral services were held at the house on Tuesday, and the remains interred in the family plat (sic), North Kingston cemetery.3

Mrs. Raymond, widow of N. L. Raymond, deceased, died on Sunday, March 31; having been in poor health all winter. She was in her 81st year; she had always lived a quiet, kindly life, and was respected by all who knew her, and will be mourned by her family and a large circle of neighbors and friends, several of whom have known her for forty years past. Funeral services were held at the home place, now occupied by her son; they were conducted by Rev. Hull, of Kingston, and she was laid to rest beside her husband on Tuesday.4

Mrs. McMurchy Is Summoned Here Tuesday
Mrs. Frank McMurchy 62 years of age and well known in this community, passed away at 3:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at St. Mary's hospital in DeKalb. Born in Oregon, Ill., on November 10, 1881, Mrs. McMurchy was the daughter of Frank A. and Catherine Lauer (sic).

On June 6, 1923, she was married to Frank McMurchy. Her passing is mourned by her husband, one daughter, Louise, five sisters, Mrs. Theresa Leiferman of Freeport. Martha, Agnes and Catharine Lauer (sic) and Mrs. Anna Arnup, all of Oregon and three brothers, John of Freeport, Charles of Oregon and Michael of Sheldon, Ia.
Her parents, three brothers and five sisters preceded her In death.
Friends may call at the Wirtz Funeral Home Wednesday after 7:45 o'clock in the evening. The body will be taken to Oregon on Thursday where services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in 8t. Mary's cemetery at Oregon.

The Rosary will be recited this evening at the funeral home at 8:00 o'clock.7

     Richard was born on 2 December 1885 in Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska, USAG.3,1,4 Richard married Ruth Ann Bryan on 23 May 1912.3,5,1,4 He died on 27 April 1950 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois, USAG, at age 64.3,1
     The following information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Ruth Bryan and James Valentine. Predeceased: Howard Valentine, Howard G Valentine and Harriet Shaffer.1 Richard Milton Valentine was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, Sycamore Twp., DeKalb County, Illinois, USAG.6
     Richard Valentine was referenced in a newspaper article about Walter Renwick and Mary Renwick on 11 September 1923 in the newspaper the Daily Chronicle.5
     In the obituary of Harriet Shaver who died 12 February 1936, Harriet's son, Richard Valentine was listed as a survivor.2
