     The following article appeared in the DeKalb, Illinois The Daily Chronicle, 30 June 1933 :

     ...Mr. and Mrs. Louis Winklebaur, and daughter Lois and Mrs. Abbie Eigenschenk of Chicago spent Sunday with the latter's sister, Mrs. Jennie Gordon.11

     Louis and Marie Winklbaur appeared on the 1940 U.S. Federal Census of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, enumerated 9 April 1940, described as a baker in a retail bakery. Their children: Alice and Lois, were listed as living with them. Their son-in-law, Herman Klug and granddaughter, an unknown person were also included in the household. With the exception of RF:Other1, they indicated they all lived in the same place in 1935.6
     In the obituary of Joseph M. Eigenschenk who died 9 December 1940, his sister, Mayme Winklebaur of Chicago, was listed as a survivor.12 She, her husband, was listed as next-of-kin/contact on the draft registration of Louis Winklbauer.13
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Chicago Tribune published in Chicago, Illinois 4 January 1948:

     In the obituary of Louis Winklbauer, who died September 1967, his first wife, Maria Winklbauer, was listed as predeceased.14

     Theodore Rauchenecker died on 19 October 1966 at Cook County, Illinois, USA, at age 85.7,13
     His name was also recorded as Theodore Ranchenseken.8 He immigrated with his mother, Marie Rauchenecker on 22 October 1881 to USA from Germany.3,10,6 Theodor Rauchenecker was found on a passenger list for the ship "Australia" with his mother Marie and and his older siblings Jacob, Kaner and Augusste, dated 22 October 1881. The older children traveling with her were: Jacob (7), Kaner (3), Auguste (2). They had come from Bavaria, and departed from the port of Hamburg.6

     And Fine Conceit of Wedding There Charmingly Carried Out To Day
     A wedding event of today was unique in the respect that it occurred in the residence which had been entirely prepared and fitted up by the groom and his bride for their immediate occupancy.
     The principals to the ceremony were Miss Bessie Fullager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, James Fullager, and Lloyd J. Kimmey, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J, Kimmey. The home will be at 207 West Lincoln avenue, the rooms of Which were very handsomely decorated with flowers and greenery for the ceremony of this after noon, which was performed by Rev. E. D. Hull at 3 o'clock.
     Only the family relatives were present, and the affair was a pretty home wedding with many daintily effective a.-id delightful features. After the greetings and congratulations the wedding collation was served.
     Many gifts were expressions of affection and friendly regard, and they were iu admirable choice, beauty of design combining with utility. The bridal pair will at once go to house keeping and be at home to their friends.
     The young people are so well known among a multitude of friends, with whom they are deservedly popular and highly esteemed because possessed of those traits of character which attract and retain friendly regard, that anything beyond a mere allusion to this fact would be superfluous.
     They will have the sincerest wishes for a future of great happiness from all who know them.7

     In the obituary of William Bryan who died 30 April 1908, his son, who died in infancy, Albert Bryan was listed as predeceased.2

I assume that Albert, referenced in his father's obituary, is the same son referenced as William in the 1860 census.3

Daniel Bryan, Respected Citizen of Mayfield Township and Half A Century A Resident Here, Passed Away Last Saturday
Daniel Bryan, for half a century a resident of DeKalb county, and well known and highly esteemed, died at his home in Mayfield township on Saturday last, Nov. 22, after an illness of about 2 months.

Daniel Bryan was born in Luffenham, England, August 25, 1835. He became a resident of this county in 1863. He enlisted in the British navy and served for five years on a man of war as a musician. He became a resident of this county in 1863, and here he has ever since resided.

Of his family there are surviving a sister in England, two nephews, George and Walter Bryan of Mayfield, and one niece, Mrs. James Shaw of Sycamore.

The funeral services were held at the home at 10 o'clock on this Tuesday morning, Rev. A. H. Post officiating, and interment was in the Ohio Grove cemetery.4
