     MISS MAGDALEN MOMENT, daughter Mrs. Robert Moment, of 23 Murray street, and Frederick Sears Coe, son of Mr. Mrs. James A. Coe, of 698 High street, will be married tomorrow evening. The ceremony will be perforemd (sic) in the the Brothers the bride-elect, the Rev. High Presbyterian Church by John J. Moment. Miss Moment, who will be given in marriage by her brother, Alfred G. Moment, will be attended by her sister, Miss Melita Moment, as maid of honor, and her niece, Miss Anne Moment, as flower girl. James D. Coe, brother of the prospective bridegroom, will be best man. The ushers will be Roland B. Coe, also a brother of the bridegroom; Henry Northrop, jr., Lester, Selvage and Graham Ward. Professor Eichorn, organist of the church, will play the wedding march. After a month's trip the couple will reside at 665 High street.1

     Frederick S. and Magdalen M. Coe appeared on the 1930 U.S. Federal Census of Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, enumerated 18 April 1930, described as a Secretary (probably the corporate position, not clerical) in the iron & steel industry. Their children: John M. and Frederick, were listed as living with them. They lived in the same dwelling as his sister-in-law, Mary M Moment, and his mother-in-law, Sarah W. Moment.3
     Frederick S. Coe, the bride's uncle by marriage,was listed as a guest at the marriage of Reade Haines Ryan and Anne Moment on 9 February 1934.8
     Frederick S. and Magdalin Coe appeared on the 1940 U.S. Federal Census of Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, enumerated 6 April 1940, described as a secretary in the foundary industry. Their children: Frederick and John Norman (sic), were listed as living with them. The household included a lodger, Mary Melitta Moment who was his sister-in-law. According to the ancestry.com transciption of this census, all houseshold members were classified as "American Citizen, born abroad" and their birthplace was given as "Newark." The enumeration data are unreliable and I have ignored them.4
     Frederick Coe Sr., of Newark, New Jersey, was listed as next-of-kin/contact on the draft registration of his son, Frederick S. Coe Jr.9
     Frederick S. Coe, of Newark, was listed as next-of-kin/contact on the draft registration of his son, John Moment Coe.10 Frederick Sears Coe, of Newark (later changed to Belleville), Essex County, New Jersey, registered for the "Old Man's" draft on 25 April 1942 at Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, USA, at the age of at an unknown age . He was self empployed at James A. Coe and Co. in Newark.He listed his next-of-kin/contact person as his wife, Magdalen M. Coe. He was described as 5' 10 1/2 and 150 lbs with brown eyes, brown hair and a sallow complexion. It was remarked that he had a wart on his left hand, and a scar from appendix operation.11

     TAUNTON, Dec. 1 — Funerals of two victims of the Cocoanut Grove fire will be held at funeral homes in this city tomorrow. The pair are Gilbert W. Winslow, 27 of Springfield and Miss Mary Demoura Travers, 30, of Boston, both natives of this city.
     Winslow was the son of Mr. ani Mrs. Edward W. Winslow, Padelford st. He also leaves a sister, Ruby Z. Winslow, a dietitian in the station hospital at San Juan P R. Services will be held at the Dagen Funeral Home at 2:30 and burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, East Taunton.9
