To you who do not know yet, my beautiful wife of over 40 years died last night at 9:04 PM. She went peacefully and was able to see all seven of her grandchildren . She had no pain at all. As she went into eternity, her family was with her: Myself, Ronda, Jordy, Shane and Carla. We will miss her a lot but we know that Jesus has given us a hope and that she will be with Him from now on. It will be a time of joys and tears both. The service will be at Bethel Pentecostal Church 6350-13 avenue in Edson at 1:30 PM, on Friday October 21 with a viewing at Edson Funeral Home, from 7:00 PM to 9 PM the night before Thursday, October 20. In lieu donations can be given to Compassion Canada, an organization in which we have sponsored several children, including one named Moreen, whom we sponsored from age 8 to 23. We all love Maggie, with her smile her love for people and mostly her love for and faith in Jesus. As I talked to some of you, I was encouraged by the positive comments that were conveyed. Love to you all Dale

He was born on 24 February 1914.2 Ernie married Shirley Isabel Hamilton on 19 December 1938, Shirley and Ernie were cousins.2
Ernie Hamilton died in November 1941 at age 27.2
In the obituary of Shirley Moffat who died 11 January 2010, her first husband, Ernie Hamilton, was listed as predeceased.1
Pat Allen wrote: Part of the confusion is probably because Mom's first husband was Ernie Hamilton, Jean's Dad, she married a cousin and her name remained the same. The story about them moving with all their belongings on a truck was Ernie and Mom and Jean, Ernie had rheumatic fever and never recovered completely, they had nothing and part of the reason he died so young was because he went back to work way before he should have to support his family. They were moving Radisson for a job and I believe it was somewhere around Borden. The story went that they were not going to get to Radisson before dark so they stopped and took the bed off the back of the truck and slept there that night. Jean would likely have only been a few months old. Mom has quite a life story."2
