She was born circa 1858 at Ireland age 23 in the 1881 census and at the time of her marriage.5,4,6 Isabella married William J Croskill on 15 February 1881 at Owen Sound, Grey County, Ontario, Canada.1,7,4,5,6

Census Data

William Croskill and Isabella appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Owen Sound, Grey County, Ontario, at Owen Sound, Grey North, enumerated 4 April 1881. William was enumerated as a Baptist and a Teamster.6
Her name was also recorded as Isabelle Glass.8 Isabella Glass was a survivor of her husband William who died in 1889.9,10,11

The following biographical fact was included:
Isabella remarried sometime after William's death, and probably before the time of the 1891 census.3
Mrs A J Thomas, of Denver, Colo. (presumably this is his mother who remarried) was listed as next-of-kin/contact on the draft registration of William James Croskill.12 Catherine (sic) Glass was identified as the mother of William James Croskill in William's obituary after his death on 19 April 1945.13
     14 November 2007 Research notes:
Find record of Isabella Glass' second marriage. See her son's WWI registration for clue that she might have married A J Thomas.14

     April 2017 Research notes:
Marriage registrations confirm that the parents of both Isabella and Katherine Glass were James Glass and Eliza Watson, so they were sisters.

Therefore I conclude that "little Bert Crosskill" referenced in the news article about "Kathryn's" upcoming wedding was the 14year old son of Isabella.14
