     The following information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Alice Suter and Kathleen Ellen Suter. Predeceased: Violet Shaver.2 David Henry Suter was buried on 21 May 1965 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.2
     David Henry Suter was also known as David H. Suter.6 He immigrated in March 1904 to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, from Durban, South Africa or possibly England. He had been Chief Detective of Police in Durban for three years prior to coming to Canada. He had formerly been a member of the London, England, Metropolitan Police Force. On 04 May 1904 he filed on his homestead at NW-18-36-9-W3 in what would become the district of Juniata, accompanied by Violet and Kathleen.5,7,2 David Henry Suter retired in 1943 and in about 1953 they moved to Saskatoon.2

     Daniel was born on 1 August 1875 in East Garafraxa Twp., Wellington County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Birth Registration 023066.3 He died on 17 December 1964 at age 89.1,4 He was buried on 21 December 1964 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.4,1
     He also went by the name of Dan.2
     In the obituary of Albert Edward McGowan who died 22 December 1947, his brother, Daniel McGowan of Saskatoon, SK, was listed as a survivor.5
