     George Badger died on 5 March 1945, in a local hospital, at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 84.4,1
     George Workman Badger was buried on 8 March 1945 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.4
     George Badger appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario in the household of his parents, Aaron and Jane Badger, listed as a Farmer.2
     George and Harriett Josephine Badger appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901, described as a farmer and a Methodist. Their children: Aaron R and William R R, were listed as living with them. The household also included Albert Jackson, a farm laborer.3
     The following information is from my personal research, circa 1910:
This is the George Badger that moved to Asquith to run a hardware store.6

     
     In the obituary of Mrs. George W. Badger who died 20 January 1933, her husband of 60years, George W. Badger was listed as a survivor.7
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Star-Phoenix published in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan 6 March 1945:
BADGER
GEORGE W. BADGER, 84 years of age, of 808 9th Avenue, north, passed away March 5, in a local hospital, survived by two sons, Russell of Drumheller, and Leslie of Saskatoon. The funeral service will be held Thursday March 8, at 2 p.m. from the Chanel of McKague'e Funeral Home. No flowers by request. Interment will be made in Woodlawn Cemetery.4

     She was born on 22 July 1862 at Canada West, United Province of Canada, according to her obituary.2 Alternatively, she may have been born on 16 July 1862 at Canada West, United Province of Canada, according to the 1901 census.3 Harriett married George Workman Badger on 22 April 1882.3,2
     Harriett Josephine (?) died on 20 January 1933, at her home, at Asquith, RM of Loganton, Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 70.1,4
     
     Harriett Josephine (?) was buried on 22 January 1933 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.2
     George and Harriett Josephine Badger appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901, described as a farmer and a Methodist. Their children: Aaron R and William R R, were listed as living with them. The household also included Albert Jackson, a farm laborer.3
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Star-Phoenix published in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan 27 January 1933:
MRS. GEORGE BADGER
ASQUITH Residents of Asquith and district were shocked by the death on Friday last of Mrs. George W. Badger, 71. one of the pioneer residents of the town, who passed away at her home after living in Asquith for almost 25 years. With her husband she resided at Collingwood, Ont., where her three sons were born, until 1608 when the family came west, engaging in the hardware, implement and milling business at Asquith until all were destroyed by fire several years ago. Strangely enough, the three mam events of her life took place on the 22nd of the month, born on July 22, 1862, she was married 20 years later on the 22nd of April and her funeral took place on January 22, 1933, just nine months after she had, with her husband and family, celebrated her golden wedding anniversary. Although a semi-invalid for a number of years, during the earlier part of her life in Asquith she engaged in many social enterprises and was a member and willing helper in various organizations, and being of t genial nature she formed many lasting friendships. Her funeral took place in Saskatoon from the Saskatoon Funeral Home, the Rev. Alfred Henshaw, a friend and old neighbor in Ontario, officiating. The chapel was filled with friends of Saskatoon and Asquith and interment was made in the family plot at Woodlawn cemetery. Pallbearers were: George Herns. Joseph Freethy, William McGill, Clifford Mitchell, Leo McSweeny and William G. Mitchell. A long cortege of cars followed and many beautiful floral tributes were sent.4
