SUMMER BRIDES.
The marriage of Margaret Elizabeth. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cuthbert. 484 Cooper street to James Lisk, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lisk, of Eganville, Ont., was quietly solemnized last evening at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. G. B. McLennan, of First United Church, officiated, and Miss Marie Scott played the wedding music. During the signing of the register, Mrs. Walter Gray. sister of the bride. sang "O Promise Me" very sweetly. Mixed summer flowers adorned the rooms.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a lovely gown of white crepe back satin. made on simple lines with a white picture hat of crepe and she carried a shower bouquet of Sunset roses and lily-of-the-valley. She was attended by her youngest sister, Miss Mabel Cuthbert, as bridesmaid. She wore a dainty dress of orchid georgette with a small hat of black ribbon and mohair. She carried a sheaf of roses and sweet peas. Mr. Harry
Leverette was best man.

Mrs. Cuthbert, mother of the bride, wore a handsome gown of black and white crepe Romaine and a corsage bouquet of rosebuds.

Mr. and Mrs. Lisk left for Toronto and Buffalo and on their return will take up residence on Laurier avenue, west. The bride travelled in A smart grey ensemble, a dress of georgette, with a grey chareen coat with squirrel and a hat of grey velour.4

     In the obituary of James Lisk who died 29 October 1949, her wife, Margaret Elizabeth Cuthbert was listed as a survivor.7 She was the informant listed in the burial register record of her husband, James Lisk on 1 November 1949 at Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ottawa East of the Rideau, Ontario, Canada.6,7
