Since Edmund MacNachtan had three daughters, and I have found primary source records for Margaret "Clare" and Emma "Georgina", I beleive that the third daughter, Rene/Renee is Helen Renwick MacNachtan. This is confirmed by her Find A Grave Memorial which includes a photo of her gravemarker, identifying heer as the daughter of Edmund and Emma.
I suspect that Rene/Renee was an abbreviation of Renwick, her middle name.
She was identified as Rene or Renee in several Winnipeg Tribune articles about her visits to he sister and brother-in-law, Georgina and Brian Ireland.5

Fashionable Wedding in Toronto Unites Two Well Known Young People
Mr. Brian Ireland's Marriage to Miss Georgina MacNachtan, of Toronto, Takes Place in Queen City
Bronze chrysanthemums and [t]eak leaves in brass standards brought a touch of autumn to the wedding of Emma Georgina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund MacNachtan, of Toronto, and Brian Warren Forsyth Ireland, of Winnipeg, son of Mrs. Ireland and the late Mr. William Forsyth Ireland, which took place in the Church of the Messiah, Toronto. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Armitage.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a handsome gown of white crepe romaine and Chantilly lace. Her court train of the same materiel was bordered with seed pearls and finished at the end with a lover's knot and horseshoe of pearls.
Her veil was caught with clusters of orange blossoms and white heather. She carried an arm bouquet of Madonna lilies and maidenhair fern.
Miss Rene MacNachtan, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor and wore a long gown of sea green chiffon, with a short cocktail jacket. Her hat was a French felt model to match. She carried a bouquet of orchid chrysanthemums. Mrs. Wm. VanFleet, also sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, and wore a similar frock of yellow chiffon, with a yellow felt hat and a bouquet bronze chrysanthemums.
The groom was attended by Mr Wynne Huxley, of Winnipeg. and the ushers were: Mr. Wm. C. Vanfleet, of Los Angeles: Mr. Donald Ireland, brother of the groom; Mr. Herbert Fowler. and Mr. Edward Bird, of Detroit.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mrs R. F. Davison.
Later, the bride and groom left for a trip to New York and Atlantic city, the bride travelling in a platinum crepe de chene frock, with a black broadcloth coat, a platinum fox fur, the gift of the groom, and a platinum felt hat. On their return they will reside in Winnipeg.
Mrs. MacNachtan mother of the bride, wore a black lace gown, with black felt hat, and silver fox fur. She carried Richmond roses and valley lilies.
Mrs. Ireland, mother of the groom, wore a handsome gown of black lace, made in princess style, with black felt and silver fox fur.6

At the time of her death in 1985 she was living with her son at 940 Younette Drive in West Vancouver. Unforntunately, his signature is not legible on her death rehgistration, so I do not know his name. Recently this property was listed for the first time in 45 years for over $5 million dollars, and it is now (2017) the Consulate for Iceland.
In 2012, B. Ireland lived at this address according to West Vancouver Board of Variance Hearing Minutes when he supported a request by a neighbour.
Heather Ireland was listed at that address in the 411Numbers website.
William E Ireland and Heather are listed at that address in "List of individuals living in postal code V7T1S9 of British Columbia Canada."8

Walked Under Ice To Freedom
Golden Lake -- Mr. Edward Luloff is now able to be about again after diving off the railway bridge and trying to swim under the ice. This might have had serious consequences. He was with a snow gang out to Pembroke and on his return in the evening was getting off the train at the bridge when the accident occurred. He stepped out on the wrong side, and having a pail, some shovels and a parcel in his hand, went right down a distance of 14 feet onto the ice. He broke through and went under, but with rare presence of mind he walked under the ice 20 feet up stream to where it was open and where rescuers pulled him out.2
