Their children: Marie, William, Emma and May, were listed as living with them.      The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Ottawa Journal published in Ottawa, Ontario 2 September 1929:
Frank F. Kritsch Ill Six Months
     Frank F. Kritsch, a resident of the Capital for the past 46 years, died at his home, 324 Russell avenue, yesterday morning after a six months' illness. He was in his 65th year.
     For the past 30 years he served as school trustee for St. Paul's Lutheran School and took an active interest in affairs of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of which he was a member during his residence here.
     Born in Germany on Dec. 8, 1864, he came to Ottawa in 1883 and four year later married Adeline Noffke, who survives. Also surviving are four daughter, Mrs. John Noack, of Ottawa; Miss Helene Kritsch of Newark, N.J., and Misses Emma and Meta, at home, and one son, Herbert, of St. Louis, Mo; two brothers, August and Charles Kritsch, of Ottawa, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Haak, of Ottawa, and Mrs. F. Wellenschlaager, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
     The funeral will be held from the late home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where a service will be conducted at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will be at Beechwood cemetery.9

Mrs. Frank Kritsch Dies in 75th Year
The death occurred this morning at her residence, 224 Russell avenue, of Mrs. Frank Kritsch, following an illness of only a few days. She was in her 75th year.

Mrs. Kritsch, the former Adelina Noffke, was born in Germany, the daughter of the late Frederick Noffke and the former Henrietta Pigors, and came directly to Ottawa from that country 57 years ago. She had resided here ever since.

Her husband, whom she married in Ottawa, predeceased her by 12 years.

Mrs. Kritsch was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Aid. She took an active part in the church's activities, and was treasurer of the Ladies' Aid for 30 years.

Surviving are one son, Rev. Herbert Kritsch, of Berwyn, Alberta, and five daughters, Mrs. John Noack, and Mrs. Jack Griffiths, of Ottawa, and Emma, Helen and Meta at home; one step-brother, Otto Grichen, of Post Office Department, and one grandchild, Adelynn Griffiths, of Ottawa.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.2

Final tribute was paid Tuesday afternoon to the memory of Mrs. Frank Kritsch who died on Saturday in her 75th year after a brief illness,

The funeral service was conducted at her late residence, 224 Russell avenue, by Rev. A. Dashner. Interment was in Beechwood cemetery.

Chief mourners were one son, Rev, Herbert Kritsch, of Berwyn, Alberta, and five daughters, Mrs. John Noack, and Mrs. Jack Griffiths, of Ottawa, and Emma, Helen and Meta at home; one step-brother, Otto Grichen, of Ottawa, and one grandchild, Adelynn Griffiths, of Ottawa.

Among the many floral tributes were pieces from: Canadian Pacific Telegraph Staff, Ottawa; Joseph Dolan and Sons, Limited;
St. Paul's Lutheran Ladies' Aid; St. Paul's Lutheran Sewing Circle.8
