The schoolhouse was packed to capacity. Interment took place in Eagle Creek cemetery. The pallbearers were: W. J. Forsyth, J. J. H. Hunter, John Dodds, Jack Nelson, Harry Royce and W. D McQuitty. Surviving are the widower, five sons, and two daughters. She resided in the Eagle Creek municipality for the past 39 years, There were no flowers by request.6
