     William Charles Homuth died on 22 October 1936, at his home on Claude Street, at Arnprior, McNab Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2
     
     Karl Fredrick William Homuth was buried on 25 October 1936 at Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior, McNab Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2

     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Ottawa Journal published in Ottawa, Ontario 24 October 1936:
WILLIAM C. HOMUTH.
ARNPRIOR, Oct. 23.—(Special)
William Charles Homuth, one of the oldest and most highly respected residents of this town, died at his residence on Claude street, yesterday after a lengthy illness. Born in Germany 80 years ago, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Homuth, he came to Canada at the age of 13, with his parents, and took up residence at Killaloe, Ont., but later moved to Arnprior, where he has since lived.

Twice married, his first wife was the former Tillie Wurm, of Arnprior. Two sons and four daughters from this union survive, William, of Pembroke; Charles, of Arnprior; Mrs. Frank Berndt. Mrs. John Weber. Mrs. William Runtz and Lena, at home.

His second marriage took place 37 years ago in Arnprior, to Hannah Runtz, who survives. Of this marriage, one son, Arthur, of Kitchener, and three daughters, Mrs. Fred Clarke, Hilda and Mabel, at home; one adopted boy, Gerald, also at home, are left. One sister, Mrs. Richard Hynes, resides In Arnprior. Twenty-eight grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, also survive.

Mr. Homuth spent some 50 years in the employ of McLaughlin Brothers' lumber mills.

The funeral will be-held from the family residence on Sunday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock, to the First Baptist Church, where services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Jaster. Interment will take place in the Arnprior cemetery.2

     Amanda Homuth died on 3 August 1920 at O.C.G.P. Hospital, Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada, at age 29.2 The cause of her death was given as occuring after surgery for exophthalmic goitre according to death registration 012797.2 The informant on her death registration was her husband, Solomon Coghlan.2
     Amanda Homuth was buried on 5 August 1920 at Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada.4,2
     Her name was also recorded as Manda Louise Homuth.3 She was listed as a witness to the marriage of William J. F. Runtz and Annie Homuth on 2 November 1910 at Arnprior, McNab Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.5,6
