     Charles Harvey Fleming is not included in the Asquith and District Honour Roll.
Other comments:
     Charles was the son of Charles Harvey Fleming and Ann Jane Gregory. They came to the Asquith district from Manitoba. The Asquith history mentions that George Harris was in partnership in an implement business in Asquith with Charles Fleming for a few years. This was probably the father above. Charles Jr. enlisted in 1916 and served in France with the Canadian Railway Troops. After the war he went to Washington state where his parents had moved in 1916 and his sister's family had moved in 1918.3,4
Canadian Military Service - WWI:
     Charles Harvey Fleming of Asquith began military service on 16 May 1916 at the age of 22 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, joining the 203rd Overseas Battalion. He was an unmarried labourer with one year experience with the Frontiersmen.1 Dvr. Charles Harvey Fleming ended military service as part of general demobilization on 16 July 1919 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, of the 11th Battalion, Canadian Railway Troops after service in France at a ration dump. He intended to go to Sedro Wooley, a city Washington state.
