     George was born in July 1900 in Clarksburg, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, CanadaG.1 George married Dorothy Charlotte Potts.2 He died on 7 February 1974 at his home in Asquith, RM of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan, CanadaG, at age 73.3,1
     The following information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Dorothy Mitchell.3 George Arnold Mitchell was buried on 9 February 1974 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, CanadaG.1,3

     He also went by the name of Arnold Mitchell.2
     He came west in 1926 and farmed in the Asquith district until illness forced his retirement.3
     In the obituary of Clifford H Mitchell who died 28 January 1964, his cousin, Arnold Mitchell of Asquith, was listed as a survivor.4
