     He emigrated on 4 October 1876 from Hamburg, Germany, onboard the "America" via Glasgow to Canada.10,5 He was found on a passenger list for the "Cumberland" with his parents Carl and Ernestine dated 4 October 1876 departing from, bound for New York via Glasgow. They gave their residence as Schwachenwalde, Pommern. Although this ship was going to New York, they changed ships in Glasgow.11 Herman Felheber was found on a passenger list for the "California" which left from Glasgow with a stop at Moville, Ireland with his parents Carl and Ernestine dated 23 October 1876 arriving at. They travelled in steerage class.12 Herman Felhaber immigrated with his parents, Carl Fehlhaber and Ernestina Schmidt to Canada.13
     Herman Faelhauber appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sebastopol Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario in the household of his parents, Charles and Ansteina Faelhauber.3
     Herman and Lena Felhaber appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Sebastopol Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901, described as a farmer.      Charles Felhaber died on 29 May 1935 at Sebastopol Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 84.2,3 The informant on his death registration was his son, William Fehlaber.2
     Carl Felheber was buried on 1 June 1935 at Sebastopol Baptist Cemetery (aka German Baptist), Sebastopol Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2,3
     He and Ernestine Fehlhaber were included on a passenger manifest for the "Cumberland" dated 4 October 1876 departing from Hamburg, Germany, bound for New York via Glasgow accompanied by their children Auguste and Hermann. They gave their residence as Schwachenwalde, Pommern. Although this ship was going to New York, they changed ships in Glasgow.1 Carl Felheber and Ernestine Felheber were included on a passenger manifest for the "California" which left from Glasgow with a stop at Moville, Ireland dated 23 October 1876 arriving at New York, New York, USA, accompanied by their children Augusta and Herman. They travelled in steerage class.6 Carl and Ernestina Schmidt immigrated to Canada, accompanied by Auguste and Herman.7
     Charles and Ansteina Faelhauber appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Sebastopol Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 4 April 1881. Charles was described as a Lutheran and a Farmer. Their children, Agusta, Herman, William and Bertha, were listed as living with them.4 Carl Felhaber, of the Clontarf area, R.R.1, Ontario, was the informant on the death registration of his wife, Ernestina Schmidt, who died on 25 August 1918.8

     She was born circa April 1852.5,6 Alternatively, she may have been born circa 1853 at Germany since she was age 28 in the 1881 census.7 Ernestina married Carl Fehlhaber before 1874 at Germany, year and location of marriage are assumptions.8,9,7
     Ernestina Schmidt died on 25 August 1918 at Sebastopol Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Death Registration 034869.5 The informant on her death registration was her husband, Carl Felhaber.5
