NORMAN E. BELL DIES SUDDENLY
     Well Known Euphrasia Boy Taken in His 17th Year
     CLARKSBURG, Oct. 17.—Much sympathy is felt by the whole community for Mr. and Mrs. Robert the sad bereavement occasioned by the sudden death of their only son, Norman Earl, who had just arrived at his 16th birthday last month.
     His death took place at Collingwood hospital on Monday evening, Oct. 14, where he was taken the previous Saturday suffering from a sudden attack of spinal meningitis pronounced by Dr. McKee.
     At the age of 13 years Earl had successfully obtained his entrance to high school when he ceased going to school and remained at home to assist his father the farm on the 3rd con., Euphrasia township near Heathcote. He took a keen interest in agriculture and was a member of the Beaver Valley Calf Club.
     The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon to Union cemetery, Thornbury, following a service at his late home in Euphrasia.6
