She was born circa September 1908 at Euphrasia Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada.3,2,7,6 Viola married Gordon Wesley Ward, at the home of the bride, on 24 February 1926 at Euphrasia Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada.5,6
Viola Evelyn Gilray died in 1982.3
Viola Evelyn Gilray was buried in 1982 at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, Thornbury, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada.3
Viola Evelyn Gilray died on 27 November 1983.8
Viola Gilray appeared in the 1911 Canadian Census of Euphrasia Twp., Grey County, Ontario in the household of her parents, Fraser and Martha Annie Gilray.2 Viola Evelyn appeared 1n the 1921 Canadian Census of Euphrasia Twp., Grey County, Ontario, in the household of Fraser Gilray and Annie Gilray.7
The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
When and where was she born?
Most sources indicate she was born about 1908.
the 1911 census indicates she was born in Sep, and was 2 years old. This would mean she was born before Jun 1909. That is consistent with a Sep 1908 birth date.
Her gravemarker gives the 1908 year of birth.
Her marriage registration gives her age as 17, and her birthplace as Euphrasia Twp. This is also consistent with a Sep 1908 birth date.

Therefore, I conclude that she was probably born about Sep 1908.9
