     The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.

     She was born on 25 June 1862 at Canada West, United Province of Canada, according to her death registration, but it gives her age as 70 years, 4 days which means her date of birth would have been June 21, 1862.^9,6,12,7 Alternatively, she may have been born in 1861 according to her gravemarker^13,4; or, on 7 May 1860 at Ontario, Canada, according to the 1901 census.³ Eliza married William Fiegehen on 20 December 1882 at Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 003816, in which she gave her age as 20, possibly to appear younger than her second husband.^2,11,3,12,7
     Eliza Fieghen died on 25 June 1932 at Clarksburg, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada, at age 70 according to Ontario Death Registration 016336.^13,14 The informant on her death registration was her son, Frank Fieghen.¹⁴ The cause of her death was given as myocarditis - nephritis chronic over a period of three years.¹⁴
