     He was born on 11 December 1858 in Drachhausen, Cottbus, Brandenburg, Prussia/Preußen (modern Germany).6,7,8,9 Alternatively, he was born on 10 December 1859 in Germany according to the 1901 census10,11 or on 11 December 1859 as recorded on his gravestone.2 Mathias married Anna Lowina Louise Schilki on 6 December 1889 in Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.12,2,5,11,9

     He died on 8 March 1942 at age 83.2 Mathais Schonnop was buried in Wilberforce United Church Cemetery, Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2
     His name was recorded as Matthes Zonnop on his birth registration.8 He emigrated with Christian Zannop and Maria Zannop on 31 March 1862 from Hamburg, Germany; to Quebec City. Note that the Brandenburg Emigration database gives their surname as Zonnop, but does not include an image of the source document for verification. The Hamburg passenger list for the Mathilde appears to give the spelling as indicated above. The Wilhelm Pillgrim family sailed on the same ship.13,14 Mathias Jounop, of Wilberforce Township in Renfrew County, was listed as a witness to the marriage of Frederick Luebeck and Marie Newman on 25 September 1889.15 Mathais Schonnop was the informant on the death registration of Uncle, Mary Junop.16

     Matthew Schunop and Annie appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 1 June 1921. Matthew was enumerated as a farmer and a Methodist. Their children Ezra, Elsie and Mabel were listed as living with them.9

     He was born on 27 June 1854 in Prussia/Preußen (modern Germany).4,7,8,5,9,6 Alternatively, he was born on 25 June 1854 in Drachhausen, Cottbus, Brandenburg, Prussia/Preußen (modern Germany).10 Christian married Hannah Louise Luloff on 5 March 1875 in Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.1,11,12,9,5
     He died on 24 August 1945 in Raglan Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 91 according to Ontario Death Registration 050300. His occupation was given as a retired farmer and he was a widower.7,8 The informant on his death registration was Robert Junop.8 Christy Junop was buried on 26 August 1945 in Rosenthal Wesleyan (formerly Zion Evangelical United) Cemetery, Brudenell, Lyndoch & Raglan Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.7,8
     He also went by the name of Christie or Christy.13,14,15 His name was recorded as Christian Schonnop-Albing on his birth registration.16 He emigrated with Christian Zannop and Maria Zannop on 31 March 1862 from Hamburg, Germany; to Quebec City.      In the obituary of Frederick W Junop who died before 8 June 1966, his father, Christie Junop was listed as predeceased.21

     He died in 1955.6 Albert F Hartwig was buried in St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Eganville, Grattan Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.6
     He was the informant on the death registration of his father, William Hartwig who died on 22 January 1908.7 Albert F Hartwig was a survivor of his wife Anna who died in 1918.6,8
