He was born on 15 December 1847 at Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Canada West, United Province of Canada.1,2,5 Alternatively, he may have been born on 12 December 1848 at Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to his death registration.3,4,6 Robert married Elizabeth Roberts on 19 May 1871 at Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, Ontario Marrige Registration 010519.1,2 Robert married Rebecca Roberts on 11 April 1884 at Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 010316 which shows that Robert was a widower.1,4
Robert Airth Jamieson died on 27 October 1909 at at Lot 14, Conc 4, Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 61 according to according to Ontario Death Registration 025783. The informant was William Jamieson.3 The cause of his death was given as general paresis with heart failure, contributed to by rheumatism and enlargement of the prostate.3
Robert Jemison appeared on the 1861 Canadian Census of Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Canada West in the household of his parents, William and (illegible) Jemison, listed as a labourer.7
Robert Jamieson appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 4 April 1881. Robert was described as a widowed farmer. His children, Elizabeth, William, James and Marian, were listed as living with him. The household included his late wife's sister, and future wife, Rebecca Roberts who was listed as his servant.6 Robert Jamieson was the informant on the death registration of his sister, Isabella Agnes Jamieson.8
The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
Oct. 27, 1879 is probably a more accurate date of death for Elizabeth that the 1884 date given on the death registration record submitted by her brother-in-law, John A Jamieson on Dec 31, 1885. This was the same date that he registered the death of his father, William.

The 1881 census shows that her husband, Robert was a widower and her sister, Rebecca was a servant in the household.

Robert and Rebecca were married on April 11, 1884 and he was shown as a widower on the marriage registration.9,4,6

She was born on 16 January 1888 at North Dakota, USA, according to her death certificate.3,4,5,6 Emma married Peter Erickson on 9 October 1907 at Drayton, Pembina County, North Dakota, USA.7,4,6
Emma B. Erickson died on 27 January 1917 at St. Joseph Hospital, Minot, Ward County, North Dakota, USA, at age 29 according to Oregon Death Certificate 3864.5
The informant on her death registration was her husband, Rev. P. W. Erickson. Her parents were identified as James H. Jamieson and Emma B. Ferguson.5
Emma B. Erickson was buried on 31 January 1917 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kasson, Dodge County, Minnesota, USA.3,5
Emma B. Jamieson appeared on the 1900 U.S. Federal Census of Drayton, Pembina County, North Dakota, in the household of Pete and Catherine Ferguson.9
Peter and Emma B. Erickson appeared on the 1910 U.S. Federal Census of Drayton, Pembina County, North Dakota, enumerated 18 April 1910, described as a clergyman.6
The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Grand Forks Herald published in Grand Forks, North Dakota 30 January 1917:
Minot
Mrs. Emma Erickson, the wife of Rev. P. W. Erickson of the Presbyterian church of this city, died at a local hospital following a serious operation which she underwent a few days ago. Her condition has been dangerous for several days.8

The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
Emma Blair Erickson's (née Jamieson) death certificate gives her birth date as 16 Jan 1888, and her mother's maiden name as Emma B. Ferguson. The 1900 census gives her birth date as Jan 1888. This appears to verify that she was born in 1888.
A cemetery transcription and the Find A Grave memorial page for her mother, Emma Blair Jamieson née Ferguson, gives her date of death as 01 Feb 1887 which was prior to Emma's birth. When you look at the photo of the grave marker on Find A Grave, the last digit of the year is obscured by grass. Only the top of the last digit is visible. It could be a 7 and is not an 8.
It is possible that Emma Blair Jamieson died shortly after Emma Blair Erickson's birth, possibly even from complications of that birth.
I conclude, for now, that the date of death on Emma Blair Jamieson's Find A Grave memorial page is probably correct. The mystery remains.10
