     He was born in August 1883 at Ontario, Canada, according to the 1911 census.4 Alternatively, he may have been born in 1884 or 1885 at Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2,5 Arthur married Josephine Brazeau on 28 August 1905 at North Bay, Nipissing District, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 013840.2,4
     Arthur Mayhew died on 14 January 1950 at Grace Hospital, Windsor, Essex County, Ontario, Canada, at age 66.5
     The following selected information is extracted from the obituary of Arthur Mayhew.
Survived by his wife, the former Josephine Brazeau. Survivor(s): Blanche LeBlanc.5

     Arthur Mayhew was buried on 17 January 1950 at Windsor Grove Cemetery, Windsor, Essex County, Ontario, Canada.5
     His name was also recorded as Arthur Maheu.6
     Arthur and Josephine Mayhew appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of Bucke Twp., Nipissing District, Ontario, enumerated 5 June 1911. Arthur was described as a teamster for a bottling works and a Presbyterian. Their children Blanche and Lawrence were listed as living with them.4 Arthur Mayhew, of Sturgeon Falls, was the informant on the death registration of his son, Lorney Mayhew, who died on 11 August 1911.3 Arthur Mayhew was the informant on the death registration of his daughter, Pearl Marie Juliet Mayhew, who died on 1 August 1922.7
