     He was born on 17 November 1876 at Westmeath Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to his wife's information on his death registration.10,6,8,11,12 Alternatively, he may have been born circa 1875 at Admaston Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, but his son's first marriage registration gives Pembroke as his birthplace.13,7,14 Louis married Agnes Condie on 2 October 1895 at Beachburg, Westmeath Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 010608..
