     The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.

     She was born on 22 December 1889 at Québec, Canada.^3,2 Alternatively, she may have been born circa 1886 according to her obituary.⁵ Mary married Herman Mayhew circa 1909, based upon the birth date of their daughter Gladys.^1,6
     Mary Jane Mayhew died on 22 October 1962, in the hospital, at Shawville, Québec, Canada, at age 72.⁵

     Joseph and Emelie Richard appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of an unknown place , enumerated 4 April 1881. Joseph was described as a house carpenter and a Plymouth Brethren. Their children, Joseph, Albert, Malvina, Marsiline and Samuel, were listed as living with them.⁵
