     Cecil and Mary Seed appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of Saskatchewan, Range 20, sub district 5, Regina census district, enumerated 1 June 1911. Cecil was described as a farmer and a Baptist. Their children V E and I. C. were listed as living with them. They had two hired me doing farm labour named Cooper. Cecil's mother was a Cooper so these may have been relatives.7
     Cecil and Mary Seed appeared on the 1916 Census of Canadian Prairie Provinces, Regina, Saskatchewan, 1555 Garnet Street, enumerated 14 June 1916, described as a farmer and Plymouth Bretheran, she was a Baptist. Their children Verna, Ivan and Vera were listed as living with them. As well as her mother, Mary Summack.6
     Cecil and Mary Steed (sic) appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of an unknown place , enumerated 1 June 1921. Cecil was described as a farmer and Church of England. Their children Elaine, Ivan and Vira were listed as living with them.8
     Cecil Seed, soon to be father-in-law of the bride-to-be, was referenced in an article about the bridal shower for Kathleen Rennick published on 22 October 1929 at the newspaper The Leader-Post.18

     In the obituary of William A. Seed who died 20 November 1937, his brother, C. Seed was listed as a survivor.19
     In the obituary of Moses Seed who died 3 February 1938, his brother, Cecil Seed of Tregarva, was listed as a survivor.20 He and Mary Seed lived at 1440 Rae Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1943 retired.21,1 He and Mary Seed lived at 1444 Robinson Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1959.22

     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Canadian Statesman published in Bowmanville, Ontario 15 January 1948:
Mrs. Henry Jacks
     In failing health for the past two years, Jessie Ann Moffat, beloved wife of the late Henry Jacks, passed away in Bowmanville Hospital on Dec. 26, in her 81st year.
     Born in Clarke Township, the daughter of the late Herbert Moffat and Harriet Helson Moffat, she attended No. 9 school.
      On October 12, 1887, she was united in marriage with Mr. Wm. Henry Jacks of Hampton, who predeceased her on Jan. 1, 1937. To them was born one daughter (Elsie), Mrs. Archie Thompson, who also predeceased her on Aug. 29, 1938. She is survived by three granddaughters, Beryl, Hilda and Gladys Thompson.
     Except for a short time at Hampton, after her marriage, she has lived in the Salem neighborhood practically all her life.
     The funeral took place from the Morris Funeral Chapel on Mon. Dec. 29, with interment in Bowmanville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. Meredith Moffat, David Park, Carl Bradley, Whitney Lang, Wesley Werry and Chas. Carruthers. Friends and relatives attending from a distance were Mr. Fred Harvey, Mrs. Annie Lang, Mr. Whitney Lang, Toronto, Mrs. Hugh Murray and Mr. Meredith Moffat, Oshawa, and Mrs. H.H. Willoughby, Newmarket.10
