This could be Jane Murray, widow of Adam Hume. Her son Robert married Mary Ann Kingsbury. Adam Kingsbury, age 6 was enumerated as part of her household.

Based uopn the reported birth year for the first Peter Hume, Jane Murray was probably born before 1822. Jane (Hume), enumerated in 1881 gave her age as 62, giving her an estimated birth year of 1819.2,3

     The following selected information is extracted from her obituary. Survivor(s): William J Becker, Annie Chatel, Gertrude Heuton, Irena Whitely, Mayme Heins, John Gietz and Ernest Gietz. Predeceased: August John Becker.13 Mary Ann Yetts was buried on 19 December 1944 in Windsor Grove Cemetery, Windsor, Essex County, Ontario, Canada.15,16
     Mary Ann Yetts was also known as Mary Ann Gietz according to her daughter Mary Ellen's marriage registration.17
     Mary Ann Geitz was recorded as mother of the bride at the marriage of William Henry Kitchen and Annie Mary Becker on 22 February 1913.18
     In the obituary of John Frederick Becker who died 2 March 1923, Mary Becker was listed as a survivor.19 On 18 July 1934 at Killaloe in Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Mary Ann Becker certified the accuracy of information about the birth of her younger brother Ernest Benjamin Gietz; She declared that both of their parents were dead, that she was ten when he was born, and that she was present in the house at that time. She signed with her mark, so could not write.20 On 11 January 1943 at Detroit Mary Ann Becker certified the accuracy of information about the birth of her daughter Annie Mary Becker; Note that Mary Ann signed the declaration with her mark, so she could not write.21
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Windsor Star published in Windsor, Ontario 18 December 1944:

Mrs. Mary Ann Becker, 73-year-old resident of 2259 Howard avenue, died at her home Saturday night. She was born at Snake River. Ont., and was a resident of Killaloe, On., before coming to Windsor 16 years ago. Her husband, August John Becker, died in May, 1913, and she is survived by one son, William J. of Niagara Falls Ont., four daughters Mrs. Annie Chatel of Montreal, Mrs. Gertrude Heuton of Windsor; Mrs. Irene Whitelv, Detroit. and Mrs. Mayme Heins of Toronto, also two grandsons serving overseas, Pte. B. P. Kitchen and Sgt. R. J. Heuton; also seven grand daughters and five great grandchildren. There are also two brothers, John Gietz of Saskatchewan and Ernest of Killaloe. Funeral services will be from the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 937 Ouellette avenue, Tuesday morning, thence to Olivet Baptist Church until time of service at 2 p.m.13

Their children Barba, John and William were listed as living with them. As well as his parents, August and Auguste.12
     Augst J Becker and Mary appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901. Augst was enumerated as a Baptist and a Farmer. Their children Bertha, John, William, Annie, Delia and Irena were listed as living with them. As well as his mother, Carline.9
     Auguste Becker and Mary appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 5 June 1911. Auguste was enumerated as a Park Ranger, and a "Babtist". Their children Willie, Annie, Dalay, Irene and Mamie were listed as living with them.10
     Mary Ann appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, in the household of John Becker, John's mother.5
