She also went by the name of Minnie.15,16
The following biographical information is from my personal research:
Note that Jacob Mahew's and Wilhelmina Margretta Kosmack's birth registrations are sequential and on the same date. This is not their dates of borth, but the date they were reported to the registrar. This is an interesting coincidence considering that they were later married.10
Minnie Kosmack of Admaston was listed as a witness to the marriage of Charles Brisco and Isabella Kosmack on 31 May 1892.17
The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Renfrew Mercury published in Renfrew, Ontario 28 May 1897 :
Death of Mrs. Jacob Mayhew
Much sympathy is expressed for Mr Jacob Mayhew, in the death of his young wife. She was taken suddenly ill on Friday last with a violent attack of general peritonitis. Notwithstanding (sic) all that medical skill could do, she continued to sink and died on Tuesday at midnight. She leaves an infant four weeks old. Mrs. Mayhew was a daughter of Mr F. Kosmack.14

In the obituary of Ferdinand Kosmack who died 3 April 1912, Ferdinand's daughter, Mrs J Mayhew was listed as predeceased.18

She did not mention Lyman who died two days after Elkanah. Lyman was sick for 3 weeks.

His death registration notes "caught the case at village school see accompanying (sic)[CR]"The school was finly (sic) closed after death. A great neglect in want of caution has been shown."[CR] It also shows that he was 9 years, 4 months 22 days of age.10,2
