The Bimm general store, under the control and management of the members of the same family since its establishment in 1911, passes to one of the younger generation. It is announced in the Leader this week, by Ernest G. Bimm, that the store is being taken over by his son, Ernest E. Bimm. The young man was attached to the Canadian Army and had attained the rank of Captain. Previous to this he filled an important position with the Hydro Electric Power Commission of Ontario. We are convinced he has the qualities which will grapple successfully with the stern realities of commercial life and competition, and in this connection he is fortunate in beginning this career in having the advice and guidance of an experienced father.11
