DWYER - KUEHL
     Tall standards of gladioli decorated the First Baptist Church on Saturday evening at 6 o'clock, when Rev. H. Stibbards united in marriage Miss Madeline Edra Kuehl and Erman Dwyer The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Kuehl and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dwyer.
     Miss Ann Dicker presided at the organ during the ceremony and accompanied Miss Agnes McCubbin, who sang "1 Love You Truly" and "Because."
     The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a bridal gown of white marquisette over satin, fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves coming to points at the wrists, and a torso styled bodice buttoned down the back. Her full length veil was caught with a halo of white flowers and she carried a bouquet of red roses. The gift of the groom was a gold pendant.
     Miss Eleanor Rennick was maid of honor in a turquoise silk jersey dress with a matching Juliet cap and a corsage of roses. The bridesmaids, Misses Ella Grinton and Leah Homerston, wore gowns of pink and blue net respectively with matching headdress and nosegays of carnations.
     Reg Kuehl was groomsman, while Bud Kuehl and Homer Grainger acted as ushers.
     Mrs. Kuehl who wore a blue ensemble with black accessories and a corsage of pink roses, received the guests at the wedding reception which was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. McTavish. The groom's mother assisted in receiving. Mrs. Dwyer chose mauve figured jersey dress with black accessories and a corsage of carnations.
     For the wedding trip to Toronto and Kingston, the bride chose a rose suit black accessories and a light beige top coat.
     Out-of-town guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. E. Port of Sturgeon Falls; Mr. and Mrs. N. Layman, Mr. H. Hartwick of Golden Lake; Mrs. Dorothea Friend and daughter, Sandra, Miss Marion Hamilton of Ottawa.1

     Augusta Miller died on 29 September 1943 at North Algona Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 60.5,4 The informant on her death registration was her son, Leonard Panke, of Golden Lake.5
     Augusta Miller was buried on 1 October 1943 at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery Germanicus & Bonnechere, Golden Lake, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Death Registration 033200.5,4
     She was also known as Agusta Miller.5

Augusta Pankie and Albert Pankie appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of Wilberforce and North Algona Twps., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 16 June 1911, described as a farmer and an Evangelical. Other children in the family were: Anna (10), Paul (8), Reinhald (6), Robert (4) and Richart (3.)3
