Military Service - WWI Royal Field Artillery

Marsh Kirman began military service on 16 July 1915 at the age of 37 at Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England, joining the 1st North Midland Brigade, Royal Field Artillery as a driver. His service number was 2009, later changed to 801051.12,13
On 21 January 1918, His service file contains a letter from S. Kirman submitting a marriage certificate and birth certificate submitted regarding Marsh's wife deserting him for another man. They had three children. There are several subsequent requests for the return of these documents.
A Military Histroy Sheet includes detals of his family. It is poorly reproduced, so some details are obscured. His wife was Florence Baumber, a spinster, and the children were: Charles ...dred born 20 ... 1902 and 2 other children but the details are illegible.13
Marsh Kirman appeared on the 1881 British Census of Waltham, at Lincolnshire, England, at Cheapside, in the household of his parents, George and Francis Kirman.2
Marth (sic) appeared on the 1891 British Census of England, Lincolnshire, in the household of Jacob Patchet, listed as a labourer, living in his grandfather's household.14

Their children Charles Alfred, Harry Reg and Walter Marsh were listed as living with them. The household also included her son, Fredrick Baumber, age 11. Note that on this document, the enumerator did not cross his "t", as in "carter" above, as well as in Walter.8
Marsh Kirman appeared on the 1939 England and Wales Register, at Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, enumerated effective 29 Sep 1939, described as a Labourer on Railway Retired.4

The following biographical information appeared at the ancestry.com family tree of Thomas H McCorkill; viewed, 6 February 2002:
Notes received from Aunt Hollis Lester on 6-29-00 indicate an Isaac Langsdale Evans, son of George Tebow and Jane Evans, born 6/12/1849 and died 10/7/1850. Since George and Martha Jane married on 1/2/1861 this must be a son born to Martha Evans before she married George Tebow . No indication of place of birth/death, but probable in either Dearborn Co, IN or Hamilton Co, OH.2
