     He witnessed the immigration of Erastus Hemphill and Martha White in 1888 in USAG; from Canada with three of their children. Later census data gives 1890 as the year of their immigration, but Laura's birth in New York state in 1889 supports this earlier date.4
     Samuel Hemphill was referenced in a newspaper article about the birthday weekend of Mrs T. W. Douglas published on 6 June 1932 in the newspaper the News-Herald.10

     Ursula was the daughter of Fred and Minnie Parkman Horton. Her father was born in Wisconsin and her mother in New York. She was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church.1

He had been employed as a maintenance man by Dunkirk Ice Cream and prior to that he operated a store in Hamlet. Frank was a 50 year member of both the Odd Fellows and the Grange in Hamlet.

     The following information is extracted from his obituary.6 He died on 29 December 1958 in Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 67.7,6 Louis Felhaber was buried in Emmanuel (aka Immanuel) Baptist Cemetery, Killaloe-Hagarty-Richards Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.2

     The following newspaper article appeared in in the book Reflections of a Century compiled by the Eganville Leader (2002) in Eganville in Ontario originally published 2 January 1959 :
Prominent Killaloe businessman, 67-year-old Louis Felhaber was killed on Monday morning in a two-car-head-on crash near Deacon Bridge, four miles east of Killaloe.

Police said Mr. Felhaber had rounded a curve when his car apparently skidded on the icy road and smashed head-on into the car driven by Donald Thompson, of Toronto. The latter escaped with a cut on his head. Mr. Felhaber was rushed to Pembroke by Mr. Gerald Rhode, of Killaloe, but was dead on arrival.7
