Died at Eganville on April 28, Mrs Ernest Bimm Sr, 75 years. A later and quite lengthy obituary says that she was the former Augusta J Klingbeil, born Dec 25, 1849, at Gohren Arns, Walde, Germany, to Mr & Mrs Gotfried Klingbeil. At the age of 22, on Feb 16, 1873, she married Ernest Bimm. Five years later the young couple came to Canada and to Eganville, Mr Bimm entering the employ of James Thompson, blacksmith.
Besides her husband, deceased leaves 11 children, 39 grandchild and three great grandchildren. Sons are Herman, Ernest, Albert, Robert and Kunibert Bimm, of Eganville; daughters: Mrs R G Reinke, Mrs G Kerstein, Mrs A Brose, Mrs R F Karsdorf, of Eganville; Mrs E P Welk and Mrs W A Kutchkie, Pembroke. There is one surviving brother, Mr Gotfried Klingbell, of Germany.1
Besides her husband, deceased leaves 11 children, 39 grandchild and three great grandchildren.
