     Milton Ezra Junop died on 15 November 1926 at Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 32 of la grippe and pulmonary tuberculosis according to Ontario Death Registration 029882. According to this document he was a barber from 1924 to 1926, and had been a farmer prior to that. Some sources indicate he died near Golden Lake.1,2,6

     Pte. Milton Schonop was conscripted on 13 May 1918 at Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada. He had his medical examination June 26, 1918. He was in Europe at the time of the armistice.1,5

     PEMBROKE, Ont May 2.--One of the prettiest weddings of the season at Golden Lake, took place in the Evangelical church. Rev. L. H. Fletch officiating, when Barbara Martha (sic) Betz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Betz, of Golden Lake, was united in marriage to Henry Harrison Junop, son of Mr. and Mrs, Gottfried Junop, of Golden Lake, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
     The church was prettily decorated with spring flowers for the ceremony, and the bride, who was given in marriage by her father, entered the church to the strains of the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin, played by her niece. Miss Clara Pi-latzke, of Pembroke. She was attended by Miss Alma Betz, her sister, and little Miss Bernice Pilatzke; a niece of the groom was flower eirl. Mr. Wesley Seigel was best man.
     The bride looked pretty in her pown of white georgette, the bodice fashioned in bolero style and the skirt falling to her slipper heels. Her long veil was held to her head with a silver bandeau and orange blossoms, and she carried an arm bouquet of American beauty roses and lilies. She wore a pearl set pendant and earrings, gifts of the groom.
     The bridesmaid was dressed in a smart frock of pink crepe de chine, and earned sunset roses and white carnations The little flower girl as winsome to her dress of pale green georgette, and carried a basket of carnations and fern. Both the bridesmaid and flower girl wore silver banrieaus in their hair, gifts of the groom.
     Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, where a buffet supper was served to the immediate relatives of the popular young couple, and they were the recipient of many beautiful gifts.
     Out-of-town guests included: Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Pilatzke, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Betz, Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Lubitz, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bnindnge, of Pembroke, and Miss Esther Junop, of Ottawa. Mr. and Mis. Junop will reside in Golden Lake.2

Note that the informant on his death registration was Dr. T. H. Gourley who may not have been fully informed on where Alex was born. He noted that Alex was Irish (not Scottish.)      Alexander Bowes died on 4 June 1909 at Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Death Registration 025803.5 The cause of his death was given as blood poisoning (2 months) and endocarditis (4 days.)5
