Three hymns, "Rock of Ages," "Jesus Lover of My Soul," and "Forever With the Lord," were sung and Mrs. J. H. Baldwin sang a solo. Pallbearers were, William Mather, William Sweet, B. Forsyth. A. Bouldlng, B Hickman and Morley Wilson of Watrous. Burial took place In the cemetery at Asquith with Campbell's Limited in charge.3

     William Tank died on 26 February 1945, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Becker, at Eganville, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 86.4
     
     William Tank was buried on 1 March 1945 at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Eganville, Twp. of Bonnechere Valley, Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.4
     William and Frederica Loise Schmidt immigrated in 1884 to Canada from Germany.3,7,4 William Tank was naturalized in 1891 at Canada according to the 1901 census.3 He was listed as a witness to the marriage of Wilhelmine Tanke and Robert Hubert on 26 April 1894 at Lutheran Church, Alice Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2 William Tank was naturalized in 1896 at Canada according to the 1911 census.7
     William and Louisa Tank appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Eganville, Grattan Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901. Their children: Gustive, Amiel, Ida, Mary, Minnie, William, Robert, Maledi and Earma, were listed as living with them.3
     William Tank was recorded as father of the bride at the marriage of William Zummach and Marie Emil Louise Tank on 21 April 1909.8
     Wilhelm and Louisa Tank appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of Eganville, Grattan Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 5 June 1911. Wilhelm was described as a Lutheran, a Mason (Labourer) at "Ut Building?". Their children Minna, Wilhelm, Robert, Lidia and Erna were listed as living with them.7
     Wilhelm Tank was recorded as the father of the bridegroom at the marriage of Emil Rudolph August Tank and Pauline Emilie Sophie Neitzel on 9 April 1912; He was a workman, and she was a seamstress.9
     The following article appeared in the Renfrew, Ontario Renfrew Mercury, 13 December 1928 :
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tank of Eganville returned home recently after a three months' sojourn at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Wm. Zummach of Delisle, Sask.10

     He signed a declaration verifying his daughter Minnie's birth information in July 1941 at Eganville, Ontario.11 On 14 July 1941, William Tank, of Eganville, certified the accuracy of information about the birth of his daughter, Mina Louise Agusta Tank.11
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Ottawa Citizen published in Ottawa, Ontario 28 February 1945:
William Tank
     EGANVILLE, Feb. 28. (Special) — William Tank, a resident of this! vicinity for the past 60 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Becker on Monday night.
     Born in Germany 86 years ago, Mr. Tank came to Canada at the age of 26, with his wife, the former Fredericka Schmidt. They settled in Eganville. Mr. Tank's occupation was masonry.
     Predeceased by his wife three years ago he leaves three sons, Gustave of Eganville, William of Chicago and Robert of Buffalo. Mrs. Annie Neitzel of Grattan, Mrs. William Zummach of Delisle, Mrs. Charles Becker of Eganville, Mrs. Vernor Kosmack of Kitchener and Mrs. Herb Kosmack of Killaloe.
     The funeral will be held from the home of his son-in-law, Charles Becker, on Thursday afternoon to Grace Lutheran church and cemetery. Rev. Mr. Voss will officiate.4

     Milton Zummach appeared in the 1931 Canadian Census of Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario in the household of his parents, John and Minnie Zummach, and he was listed as a farmer labourer on his father's farm.5 Milton Zummach of Killaloe, brother of the bride, was listed as a witness to the marriage of Gordon Schleen and Erma Beatrice Zummach on 22 July 1931.6
     In the obituary of Hilda Agnes Clark who died 30 September 1944, her brother, Milton Zummach of Niagara Falls, was listed as a survivor.7
