She (Grace (Lehman) Francois) tells me that her brother George Lehman had a twin brother. His name was Frank Edward. Matches, check the Golden Lake Cemetery, the monument is there. His monument has the date of birth, not just the year. So we can add the same date to his brother George.
Hi again, regarding Annie Yourth married to Albert Lehman, their son is buried at the Golden Lake Cemetery also. His name is George 1911 -1971, married to Myrtle Pilatzke. Daughter of Andrew Pilatzke and Lena Betz, their Monument is there too. She was an only child, I am sure I am right on this. The Pilatzke's owned a General Store in Golden Lake village. The store was passed on to George and Myrtle. I can remember when both of the generations operated it.2

Matthew Noack Jr. is referenced in my analysis of Matthew C. Noack and Wilhelmina Schilka; There does not appear to be an Ontario Marriage registration for Matthew (Matthias) Noack and Minnie Shilka. However, their first child, Bertha, was born in about 1868, either in Germany (if the year of immigration (1870) in the 1901 census is accurate) or in Ontario (as stated on Bertha's 1927 death registration.) Either they were married in Germany prior to an 1870 immigration, or they were married in Ontario prior to the start of marriage registration records in 1868.
In January 1900, Mat Noack Jr. registered the death of his father, Matthias Noack, a "single" farmer.
In the 1901 census, Minnie Noack was enumerated as the head of her household, a widow and a farmer. Martin, not Matthew, was listed in her household, but his birth date is consistent with Matthew's.
In October 1918, Matthew Noack registered the death of Wilimena (sic) Shilka, a widowed farmer's wife.
An index of "The Arnprior Watchman" (with no digital copy availalbe) indicates that "Mrs. Matthew Noack of Killaloe. Of pneumonia. ( WM Oct. 18, 1918, p. 3 )". This is consistent with the cause of death given in the above death registration. My conclusion is that they were married and that I think I have recorded their family accurately.33

Serious Accident
On Wednesday morning Dr. Gourley, of Killaloe, brought down to Victoria Hospital Matthew Noack, a well-to-do German farmer of about 33 years of age, who had met with a serious accident the preceding evening. He had been rolling his land with a three-section iron roller. In some way, striking a stump the tongue broke, and he was pitched forward, being caught between the frame and the roller. He was partially stunned also and, the horses running away, he was dragged some distance along the ground and over a stone fence. He came to his senses sufficiently to grasp one line and thus turn the horses aside and free himself just before they came to a cliff. His right leg was badly smashed. Drs. Murphy and Wade sent the leg, but do not hold out much hope but that it will have to be amputated, the bones were so badly broken.23

Mrs. August Noack and daughter Emma and Mrs. Godfrey Yourth of Golden Lake were in town Thursday to attend the funeral of Miss B Noack.7
The following biographical information was shared at an email from the late Jean Panke, 1 November 2003:
August Noack if it is the same one, which I would think so. Unless there was a senior and junior. He married Annie Berndt. They didn't have children of their own, but adopted one. I can remember my mother told me that August and Annie went to Renfrew, Annie went in where the babies where. She put out her hands and asked, Which one of you want to come with me? One little girl put up her arms, so Annie and August took this little girl home, Annie told my mother, she just couldn't refuse because Emma was the only one that wanted to go with her. They called her Emma. She married William Zieman, Emma passed away some years ago, but her husband William is still alive, up in the 80's and is my brother, Nelson's next door neighbour. I knew them well I knew the Ziemans and the Noack's. The Ziemans had a big family, and my parents often helped them out.
August Noack was sort of like a Vet!!!. If an animal was sick the farmers would get August. Noack's would be buried at the Golden Lake Cemetery. Emma Noack, Zieman, their adopted daughter is too, as well as two Zieman infant children and a son, Wayne that passed away a few years ago. He had no children and was divorced. Wayne went to school with my brother Harold.8
