THE LATE ROBERT RUNTZ
Mr. Robert Runtz passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, Peterborough on Friday, July 16, 1971.
Born in Lyndoch Township on February 144 1883, the son of the late Charles Runtz and Willamenia Hein. On June 8, 1910, he was united in marriage to Matilda Weber who predeceased him on April 20, 1962. Born to this union were four daughters and one son, (Violet), Mrs. Harry Jessup of Quadeville; (Willo), Mrs. Percy Jessup of Quadeville; Charles of Beachburg, Hazel Neuman of Lakefield, (Erna), Mrs. Edwin Neuman, who predeceased him three months previous.
He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Weber of Killaloe and Mrs. Lydia Kauffeldt of Renfrew, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral services took place on Monday, July 19 from the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Jessup, to the Lyndoch Baptist Church where he had been a life-long member.6
Mr. Robert Runtz passed away in St. Joseph's Hospital, Peterborough on Friday, July 16, 1971.
Born in Lyndoch Township on February 144 1883, the son of the late Charles Runtz and Willamenia Hein. On June 8, 1910, he was united in marriage to Matilda Weber who predeceased him on April 20, 1962. Born to this union were four daughters and one son, (Violet), Mrs. Harry Jessup of Quadeville; (Willo), Mrs. Percy Jessup of Quadeville; Charles of Beachburg, Hazel Neuman of Lakefield, (Erna), Mrs. Edwin Neuman, who predeceased him three months previous.
He also leaves to mourn two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Weber of Killaloe and Mrs. Lydia Kauffeldt of Renfrew, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
