For a number of years, I have looked for evidence to support that Pte. A. E. Yourth, as reported when his war-bride, arrived in Canada, was the same person as Albert Edward Yourth.
My finally seeing his 1973 obituary confirms this in my mind because: 1) his widow was identified as Lillian Yourth, and the war-bride was reported as Mrs. Emily Lilian Yourth, 2) both had a son, Allan, 3) in his obituary, surviving in-laws in England are mentioned, consisten with Lillian being a war-bride.
