The Becker Family history about her son Fred and family states that she was born on a ship enroute to Canada.14,5,8,15 Alternatively, she was born in November 1853 in GermanyG on her Ontario Death Certificate16,17 or circa 1853 in GermanyG on the Hamburg passenger list and early census records1,18,13 or on 19 December 1855 in Haselen, GermanyG, according to the 1901 census. Her marriage Registration indactes she was born at "Haselen, Germania."2,12,7,6

Note that since this is based upon a secondary source, I cannot verify whether the passenger list used Christina or Albertina as her given name.26
